Hunt silver inlaid California loose-jaw bit with triple slobber chains, copper cricket and copper balls on the braces. This is a style that was popularized by Albert’s father, Abbie Hunt (1876-1967) with whom he shared a blacksmith shop in Caliente back in the 1930s. The Hunt spade mouthpieces were considered some of the finest ever made in California. c. 1930s-40s
